went to the doctor yesterday. He said from what I described and that the pain and cramps have disappeared I probably just have a mild intolerance to milk products and to continue with what I've been doing (avoiding milk before noon and after 6 when it seems to bother me the most). He suggested lactaid but I don't care for the taste and some of the others have a higher fat content and because I'm a skim milk drinker they're to creamy for me. Some of them are the equiv of 1-2%. So that stress is over with, unfortunately he gave me more. The appt was orginally scheduled for a pap and when he did the breast exam he seemed to concentrate in one area for longer, turns out I have a 'lump'. I've been lax about self exams at home and I never noticed it before. He said he thinks it's just a cyst but to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't grow (it's about the size of a pea) and to come back in three months. I'm hoping it's only a cyst, a cyst can be drained and everything is ok. I don't know if there's a history of breast cancer in the family. My dad's side there's been different kinds of cancers but i don't know if any have been breast, and my mom was adopted and doesn't know her biological family. My mom has fibrocystic (SP?) breasts and has to go frequently for mams. I've been checking out the womens gyn concerns boards.
I know this had nothing to do with digestive problems but I had to spill. Everyone I've talked to has blown away my concerns. I tend to overreact sometimes so it's nice to be able to write it here. Everyone on the boards I've found have all been understanding and friendly and actually validate concerns rather then push them away even if they don't agree with the concerns it's a nice change.

Angelfish,
Thanks for the update.
