What's going on with me?!

Can someone please tell me what's going on with me?

I'm a 20 year old female.

For about a week and a half now I've been feeling nauseous and getting headaches on and off. The nausea usually comes after I eat and I also burp a lot after I eat. A few times I've felt lightheaded and dizzy but that has been a bit of a rare occurence. Also, I've had sore breasts on and off, not a lot of pain, but still noticeable. And I've developed quite a bit of acne in the past couple of weeks (about 9-10 blemishes) which is SO unusual because I've never had acne before and the most blemishes I've ever had would be about 1 or 2. Occasionally I wake up with a crampy stomach, nothing too serious and usually goes away. I felt a lot better this morning but ended up throwing up after dinner this evening.

I'm usually very healthy, although last month I went to the doctor and got prescribed medication for some gastrointestinal issues due to stress (April has been final exam period for me). The symptoms I had last month are completely different than my current problems so I am reluctant to believe that it is the same cause.

Other than that, my last period was on March 29 and I'm allergic to birth control but use condoms regularly and have been extremely careful (My boyfriend and I have both attended an hour long information session with a Public Health Nurse in regards to proper use for condoms). My friend brought up the idea of pregnancy (AHHH) but considering the timing of my cycle and my activities... I'm reluctant to think believe her as well.

I am a bit worried though - can someone help me out?

Thanks,

Ashley

I'm sure you already know NO birth control except total abstinence or sterilization is fool-proof, no matter how careful you are - plenty of pregnant women can tell you that one. Maybe you should consider picking up a couple of at home pregnancy tests (I've read you should probably do two, not one). If you're on some new meds, even ones for stomach problems, pretty much any pill you put in your mouth has the possibility of causing some kind of side effects, no matter what it's treating. If you read the possible side effects - even of stomach meds - some say they can cause stomach problems. I don't think anybody here is going to be able to tell you what's up, it's never wise to diagnose yourself. In your shoes, I'd be making a trip to my doctor.
