I hope someone can help me. I had my gall bladder removed on May 13. It has been an awful recovery, if you could call it that. I am still experiencing all of the same symptoms as I was before going to the ER but now it hurts even more. I continue to be nauseated, have heartburn, pain in the center of my chest and abdomen, pain where the gall bladder was, under my right rib cage, in my middle back and I hurt all the way down to my pubic bone. I am not having regular bowel movements and everything I eat makes me feel worse. I am eating a very low fat diet high in fiber and drinking about 64 oz. of water a day. I am taking Aciphex and something the Dr. gave me for Gastritis which was suppose to help me feel much better within a few days, that was 6 days ago. I am still having a hard time lifting my baby and I just feel like there is something wrong. The GI Dr. makes it sound like I am healing just fine, but I made another appointment for Thurs., that was the soonest he could get me in. The only thing that is better is that I am not running a low grade fever anymore. Has anyone had anything similar? Am I being unrealistic in my recovery time?
