Colonoscopy Prep

Hi- I posted this on the Crohn's and Colitis board, but thought I might try here as well:
I have a question regarding colonoscopy prep. To give a brief history- my brother has Ulcerative Colitis and as I had some abdominal problems a few months ago (I have since felt fine) and am mildly anemic, my doctor would like to do upper and lower endoscopies. I wanted to begin eating lighter 2-3 days before the test (I am only required to be on a clear liquid diet 1 day before) and my question is, do any of you have any suggestions on what I could eat that has some substance (something more than jell-o) but is still considered light? Thanks for any suggestions- I'm extremely nervous about this.

Welcome!
I am not sure what you were told, totally clear or not. The prep for a colonoscopy includes not ingesting anything red or purple. Those colors can show up looking like blood.
Clear soup broths and juices are all I can think of. Did your Drs. office supply you with a list? If they didn't, I would suggest calling and asking for more guidance.
Let us know what you learn and share it with us, OK?
