h pylori, also known as helicobactor pylori is treated successfully in most cases.
If you feel that you are losing weight and not improving with the antibiotic therapy you are on, you need to get back with your doctor and determine if you are taking the correct medication.
Please let us know what is decided and how you progress, OK?

<yeah i think i should , thx :)
but i just want to know if that 's the cause of me not eating or is it sth else?
I am leaving shortly, for a much needed weekend away from home and didn't want you to think I am deserting you...there is a toll free number at the site I provided. Why not try calling and ask about your eating problem? Post whatever you learn here, as it might help another poster that is still lurking.
I have another CL that will pop in when she can, so you won't be left hanging, OK? Good luck, I'll be back Sunday evening! I'll be anxious to see if you've learned anything new to share with us.

Insomnia & Sleep Problems
"I was sleeping the other night, alone, thanks to the exterminator."
Hi, I just happened to be browsing a few boards today and stopped in at this one. I almost didn't see your post since it was in the OT discussions!
I was diagnosed in May with a helicobacter infection. I have taken two courses of antibiotics (four weeks of the 8 a day prevpac) and am now on nexium for a few more months to allow my stomach to heal. Of course, I am also drinking kefir and eating other fermented foods for probiotics and avoiding thigns that irritate my stomach, like milk (I've been making kefir with coconut milk) and tomatoes.
I also lost weight while I had the infection. Mainly I did not feel like eating. My stomach was always upset and 'bubbling'. I was quite bloated and though the bubbling never stopped day or night, I didn't feel quite so awful when my stomach was empty, so naturally without thinking about it, I found myself avoiding eating. There may be other things at play, that I don't know about, but this is fairly common from what I understand.
How are you feeling now that you have been on antibiotics for a while?
