Is it possible?

Folks!

I'm not a very thirsty person so I don't drink that much fluids. The fluids I do drink however are healthy I suppose, juices and water and maybe the occasional soda.

But is it possible that since I haven't been drinking that much fluids my body has been retaining water, like it thinks I can't get anything to drink? As in my previous posts I've mentioned that I've gained 6lbs in the past two weeks, and I think I can see it on my hips, a little bit of fat if that's what it is. As I've also posted I've been very bloated, not to mention I just started my period.

The past few days I've been drinking just water, perhaps a few glasses a day, working my way up to the recommended eight glasses a day. Any who, just a thought.

Also, is it normal to gain noticeable fat within two weeks if I've been eating healthier? Gosh I'm so confused.

Anything is possible, but you don't drink enough fluids to really be retaining that much. I have noticed that all of your posts show that you are extremely focused on your weight. Gaining or losing 5-6 pounds is not extreme and possibly you have some other issues going on.

You might want to check out another support board here at iVillage. I honestly don't think your issues have anything to do with your stomach and digestive issues.
