dizziness and stomach pain

Lately I have been having stomach pain every time I eat - no matter what it is how or much/little. Then for awhile after I burp a lot. And I have also been dizzy...like several times a day I feel like things are moving out from under me. A few years ago I was diagnosed with IBS, but it has always manifested itself through diarrhea when I'm stressed, never anything like this. I went to the doctor and they didn't know, gave me some medicine for gastritis but it hasn't helped. Has anyone experienced this before or any thoughts?

I also have IBS. I am lucky not to have any bathroom issues but have bloating very bad.
Lately, I've been monitoring my blood pressure (I also have lung disease) and noticed that every time I ate, I would feel very light headed and could not focus. I took my pressre and it is way up. This would last for 15-20 minutes and then goes away then after the sensation is gone (dizzy, pressure on my head, forehead) I retake my pressure and it is normal.
Grant it, I have other medical conditions and on different meds but noticed this happened after I ate. Also, while I was in the hospital this was happening, I told the drs and they did a head mri and found all ok. I will be going to the gastro internist to check my upper GI as lately I am also having a bit of trouble (from time to time) swallowing.
See how your BP is doing if high or low (both directions can make you dizzy. Have an endoscopy and colon check. (not bad at all to do)
Good Luck-
Mia
Welcome meshady, you've gotten a couple of good suggestions from other posters. Of course you will need to see your own doctor again, to let him/her know that the Rx'd medication isn't helping.
It is possible that the dizziness has no connection to eating and food. Have you had a recent cold/allergy? Any sinus congestion can cause dizziness. Some heart issues can also cause dizziness, so start keeping a journal of what is happening right before and after you are experiencing dizziness. You might start seeing a pattern that will also help your doctor.
