Hello so happy to have found this board. Here is a little background info .I started having some pain on my right side on Thursday the 28 th just mild thought nothing of it ,but by satday it was hurting in my back .It felt like I had a kidney infection ,I get them about once a year .So on Tuesday I went to the DR. not my normal DR she only see patients one day a week now (I'm looking for a new one ) so I go in they dip my pee and say it looks better then they have ever seen it .The Dr. gave me antibiotics because he thought it just did not show on the rapid test .He called so as the send out test came back and said I need to come in for u/s and blood work .Well his nurse called me on satday at 8 am, so the phone woke me up and said all my test where normal .I say to her I'm still in pain sometimes so bad I fell like I going to pass out .Then she tells me She guess she will give me appt. with my DR , but all my test are normal but if I want to come in I can .I was so mad I felt like they were blowing me off .Like the pain is in my head .So I have an appt. in the am and I'm not sure if I should even go .I'm feeling better today but not 100% .Should I go in and she what she has to say? also what is you expenses with getting thing diagnoses? thank you sorry this got long .

Glad you found us Jennifer!
Seeing your own doctor is a good idea. Be sure to bring any test results with you, or write down what you remember having done, so your doctor can access the results quickly. No point in having any tests repeated, unless your own doctor is looking for something specific.
Did you stop taking the antibiotic, or were you told to continue? Bring that bottle with you too, and let your own Dr. decide if you need to continue them.
Keep us updated and good luck! Finding the cause of your pain might take more time, but better to keep looking right now.
