Hi Guys,
My best friend is getting the microscope test next week.....camera that goes down your throat. She is quite nervous, I told her she will be fine.
She has been experiencing alot of heartburn and when she eats she gets this lump in her chest like food won't go down and pain. She had oatmeal for breakfast yesterday morning and she had the "lump" feeling again. Sometimes she gets a tight chest. She was supposed to get this test a year and a half ago but she let it go. She has 3 kids and very nervous all the time. Could it be just nerves with the kids or does she have a problem with her indigestion? She called me before and said the lump in her chest came for no reason at all - she didn't even eat anything yet. What do you think she has?? I'm taking her to get the microscope test done next week at the hospital. Thank you. Laura

What a good friend she has! Here is some info that you can share with your friend...

That lump sensation might be some type of spasm that is being caused by stress, since she has felt it even without eating anything. I couldn't venture to guess what it might be, but be sure she mentions it to the doctor that will perform the test.
Let us know the outcome of her testing and please share this message site with her too!
