Calcium overload maybe???

These boards are malfunctioning badly tonight, but I'll try for the third time.  I have GERD well controlled with meds, so I don't think that's even part of the picture.  I've been having tummy trouble for over a year now, I've experimented with meds I use and don't believe any of them to be the culprit.  Two doctors have done tons of tests, incl. a colonoscopy just to play it safe and a capsule endoscopy - you swallow that little camera and if there's anything visibly wrong, it'll definitely find it.  Other tests, too, and nothing showed up that is probably causing this at all.  The doctor initially thought maybe a "malabsorption" problem aggravated by anemia I've had forever might be it, but didn't really pursue that, and lately I've been reading if you get too much calcium it can do a number on your stomach.  And that's what I'm wondering.  I take a calcium/magnesium supplement every day, chew up two Tums at bedtime, plus there is lots of dairy in my diet - most days I have milk, yogurt, cheese, and probably more than that by the end of the day.  In my age bracket 1200 is the RDA, and obviously I'm way beyond that.  I'll back off on it for a month and just see if things improve.  Anybody ever run into this?  My back, which is horrid to begin with, bothers me more than ever in the past, too, so I've read something like gallbladder or pancreatic trouble could be a possibility, too.  I'll see a new GI soon, but in the meantime just wondering about if any of you have some feedback.  I'm using Culturelle daily - SOMETHING temporarily brought this to a halt for awhile last summer for about two months - I had taken Culturelle daily for a few months prior to that improvement, so I stopped taking it, two months later it returned.  I don't know for sure the Culturelle is what helped, but I'm taking it again to find out.

Here is some information on malabsorption, although you don't think it is the cause of your latest issue...

It might help explain some of your symptoms, plus you can search from that point and possibly find other answers.

What are the stomach troubles you are having If it is diarrhea and you have yellowish mucus and BM's and you have nausea it could be gall bladder plus pain in the center and off to the right side and also in the back around the shoulder blade. You can also be having sided effects from the calcium you take if you are having diarrhea because magensium will cause diarrhea. SO what are the tummy troubles you are having.

Is you back pain around the shoulder blade. The stomach pain in the middle around the belly button or off to the right. Do you have bowel problems like diarrhea or constipation. Is that sick feeling like nausea but not throwing up. Did you have your gall bladder checked.
