I have been suffering from IBS symptoms but lately they have also been accompanied by chest pains that start slow then progress and eventually go away after about 30minutes. The pains also make breathing difficult. I'm hoping somebody has an idea as I don't have medical insurance and am unable to visit a physician.. Thanks you in advance for you assistance.

Welcome!

We are not doctors and cannot suggest too much, but you already know that, right?

Have you tried going to a clinic that charges on a sliding scale, based on income? Anything that has chest pain as a component should be checked out. Here is some info that you might find helpful, but you do need to find a way to see a doctor soon.

Let us know how you are doing and if you are able to find someone that can treat you, OK?

It is possible that your chest pain is related to the IBS, but please try to find out if there is a way to see a doctor. Keep in mind that the 'classic' symptoms for heart attack and other heart issues are not the same for both sexes. Many symptoms for women are less obvious and that is why you really need to get this checked out.

Is it on the right hand side under your ribcage? Your gallbladder is there. My doc says some times people with IBS get gallbladder pains too. I have had it before.
