pain right under my ribcage

Since tuesday morning when I woke up i've had this pressure pain right under my ribcage. It feels like some of the antibiotics i've taken has been lodged in my esophagus(i think). I'm on AcipHex for the stomach pain but i'm not sure if it's something being blocked or something else is wrong. I just got back from the doctor yesterday for a infection in my uterus...(ouch)but the antibiotics i've been taken before that didn't seem to want to go down so easy. How can I get this discomfort gone?

Welcome!
Have you mentioned to the doctor that it feels like the medication isn't going down properly? Eventually it will dissolve, but maybe a call to the pharmacist will help you get some suggestions too. Let us know what you learn, OK?

<.....perhaps,your pain is medicene related...but I personally have not had that problem, except from NAIDS for pain....elsewhere in my body.....dumb dr's refuse to give other meds for my pain so I suffer when I take them....when a strong Narco or something would NOT upset my stomach.......guess they "think"(????) it is better for my stomach to end up bleeding then give Narco...believing I would be addicted....
Fact is.....people such as ME who have REAL pain ....do NOT become "addicted"...but rather become "dependent" upon NOT being in pain.....
I just don't see how or what "addicts" get out of drugs like Narco....seems they would get ill before they would find a "thrill" in them.....
It is such a shame "addicts"....ruin it for folks like me who need to have things like Narco to "control" pain enough to be an active member of the Universe..
I just get so MAD at doctors......
I understand why you are upset, but are you aware that Norco contains acetaminophen (Tylenol)? Even though it doesn't have the same anti-inflammatory properties as aspirin type products, it can cause issues. I have to have liver function tests often, to be sure that my liver isn't being damaged.
What type of Dr. do you see? Most will not Rx narcotic medications for chronic pain issues. If you feel the need for stronger pain control, have you seen a pain management doctor? I go to one; he is an anesthesiologist.
