Night time nausea (everyday)

I don't know what kind of information to give, so I will give what I think is important. I am 24, overweight, have heartburn/ acid reflux (I don't know which one, but I take chewable Rolaids), and get nauseated at least 5 out of 6 nights. Anywhere from an hour before to actually laying in bed I get very nauseated, I never throw up but feel like I could. It usually goes away in about 15 - 20 minutes. I eat supper between 6 and 7pm, when I get home. I go to bed around 9pm. It has happened when I have been up later, like during the weekends when I am not going to bed early. I am on BC, however it is the same when I'm not taking it. I am not pregnant according to home tests and the doctor. This has been going on for about four or five months (I can't really remember when it started)
I really don't want to go to the doctor, so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Sorry you had to find us, but hopefully you will find some help and support here!
You mentioned that your doctor doesn't think you are pregnant, so did he/she have any ideas about the nausea? Are you taking the OTC meds on your own?
Have you tried raising the head of your bed? Some folks find this helpful in relieving that 'backflow' of food and liquids when they lie down at night. Since you mentioned being overweight too, this could be adding to the excess pressure on your stomach contents. Have you asked for help in losing some weight?
Here is some general information about heartburn, acid reflux and nausea; check it out and let me know if I can find any other info for you. I do suggest a visit to the doctor too, since none of us are medical doctors and your issue has gone on too long!
