My daughter aged 9 years suddenly developed a abdominal pain which began on her left side and moved to the middle and now for the last couple of days on the right hand side. the doctor advised me to take her to hospital for further tests to see if it was appendicitis or a kidney infection. Her blood tests and urine tests came back ok. I am really worried but the doctors just say it is one of those things that children have pains that cannot be accounted for, but I feel that is untrue, do you think that I should get a second opinion? Help

Be sure to have access to the test results that were just done and definitely get a second opinion. Doctors can make mistakes and you know your daughter best; if she isn't one to complain and have 'pains' often, this should be followed up.
