I'm so bloated, and I know its not water retention. My tummy feels so gassy and bloated that I have to unbutton my pants after every meal. None of my clothes fit me right, and my friends tease me because they say I look "2 months pregnant" My tummy feels like its about to burst! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this ridiculous bloating?

Have you been gassy? Have you talked to your doctor about it? Not to alarm you, but bloating can be a symptom of serious problems.

Hi,

I had the same problem and it was a combination of IBS and celiac disease.

Welcome!

Why is it that women are embarrassed when they have bad gas, but most men find it funny and try to out-do each other?

You got 2 great suggestions and I definitely think seeing your doctor is the best idea, especially if this is a symptom that just happened, or has gotten worse recently. Here is some general information about gas and bloating; read through it and check out the section that has questions to ask your doctor...

Ugh! This bloating's gotten worse! I over ate during Thanksgiving and I feel terrible! None of my jeans fit me (except for one that can barely button). I know this isn't water retention, but I'm sooo gassy that I have to wear sweatclothes instead of regular clothes! My friends are really poking fun at me now! A few days ago, I was at a restaurant with them and I got so bloated and uncomfortable that I had to totally undo my

You don't mention seeing your doctor about this...have you yet?

I need some help, please!

You have received some good suggestions, along with seeing your doctor, so I am not sure what else you think we can offer. We are NOT doctors and can only suggest what might be...please make an appointment soon and keep us updated, OK? Over-eating is never a good idea, but it sounds like you are distressed after any meal.
