I had my gallbladder removed on 12/31.  My gallbladder had chronic inflammation and cholesterol deposits.  There were also adhesions from the inflammation.  I have been getting better everyday and had my followup last Thursday.  Everything was good.  After the appt I went to the grocery store and blockbuster.  By the time I got home the pain had increased to the left of  my bellybutton.  It has not gone away.  It hurts most when I am standing up.  I don't feel it much when I am laying down on my back.  I sleep on my side and have to take pain killers to sleep.  I had stopped them for two days before this started.

I am at a healthy weight but my stomach muscles are wimpy right now (It hurt to work them before my surgery for several weeks).

Is this just part of the healing?  Did I hurt something from being up and about for a couple of hours?  Any body know?
