gurgling and fatigue

I just ate a small portion, about 1 c, of New England Clam Chowder.  It sent me to bed with fatigue.  You would have thought I just ate Thanksgiving dinner.  My legs were tired.  I was tired and took a nap.  It was like all the blood went to my stomach to eat 1 little cup of soup.  The entire time I was dozing, I could hear my stomach gurgling.  I have been taking a probiotic regularly and eating salads for lunch to help metabolism.   What else can I do?

Is this the first time this has happened to you, or is it a regular occurance? If it only happened the one time it may not mean anything at all -- although I think I would avoid clam chowder in the future. If it is happening with other foods and is frequent, then it may bear investigating.
