I thought I had already posted this here but I can't find it. If I did I apologize.
My Endoscopy diagnosed Barretts Esophagus. Which is a precancerous condition. I feel very fortunate that it was found so early. The Dr. put me on Prilosec 2 x's a day, had to raise the head of my bed 4" and not eat for 3 hours before bedtime.
I'm also learning that high fat foods trigger symptoms. Which is good for a lot of reasons. I am feeling a lot better and go back for another Endoscopy in 2 years unless the symptoms come back or worsen.
Anyone else have any advice about this?
