Hi there,
I just found this forum when searching the web for infertility support. I have been trying for a year and a half and have had 2 misscarriages. Everyone around me who started trying with me (total 6 women) are starting to have their children and I getting really bumbed out. My doctors keep telling me I don't have any major problems so don't worry it will happen... Recently I was put on progesterone supplements but all the symptoms it produced had me believe I was preggers but when I went on the internet I found out its just the side effects. I don't know if I am yet because I only on 9DPO but I got so excited. What a crash! I know there is still a chance but I've become such a pessimist. I dont know how this will make me feel better but I guess I'll give it a try.

Hi there and welcome. The progesterone supplements can cause pg symptoms but it also may be just what you need for that sticky BFP. A regular from the TTCYFC board had had an early miscarriage and infertility, but got pg her second month on the progesterone and it is sticking. Hope this is just what you need as well!

I wanted to let you know that you are not alone in trying for a good many years. My DH and I have been trying for over 6 + years. We are now finally getting all the test do to see what the problem is. DH test were fine. I looks like it is me. Have you had many test done. Good Luck and I hope you get your BFP soon.

Hi everyone,
I am so touched by all the replies I recieved from this posting. I could read the feelings you put into your messages and have felt them all. Right now I would say I'm not feeling anything just emptyness. My closest cousin just had her daughter (the second lady to get pregnant) and I'm finding it hard to go visit. I've called but I have lost the desire to see yet another baby. I'm being selfish aren't I...
Anyways, I just received my test results yesterday and of course it is neg. The progesterone I was put on was the clear, white vaginal suppositories and boy did it ever cause a nasty rash! Ouch! I can't believe if I do become pregnant I will have to take them until the end of the first trimester.
One thing you don't know about me is that I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Although it has nothing to do with fertility I have put off any treatment until I have my children. I went to two doctors my GP, who told me she did not want to do any tests because miscarriages are so normal, and a specialist who looked at me as if I was crazy! I finally got a referal to a fertility clinic, by practically begging, and have been treated with the utmost respect. They have understood the importance of having children ASAP! But it was just sad that my MS finally got someones attention! Anyways, The first steps have been tests and some still have to come back but they don't think anything is wrong. I was put on progesterone but it did not work this month and I guess thats normal that it will take a while. My fertility doctor also mentioned that she will put me on a 'little' clomid next month. Has anyone been on clomid before? I was put on it for one month by a doctor who i felt just wanted to shut me up, and it dried up my CM. Can you even get pregnant without CM? Help.

Hey there,

This forum will really help you!!! There are alot of supportive women on this board that have been through the same or similar situations. It really helps to have people to talk to that have been there instead of being surrounded by women and there babies.

Please let us know if you need anything and good luck to you. Are you seeing an RE??

Hey there,

I am new to it also I think you are already seeing one cause I didn't read before I posted but it is a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

We have several similarities in our situations. I have had 1 miscarriage and 1 blighted ovum which required a D&C. Since then it has been almost three years and I have done two rounds of clomid and prog. supp. Still no BFP. No I am seeing an RE and getting some long needed tests run. So I am here to talk if you need someone and so are all the other great ladies on here.

Hope your having a good day!! Try to stay positive!! There are always options!!!
