Hello,

My name is Emily and I'm new to the board. Does anyone else out there have a short luteal phase? My DH and I have been TTC #1 for 10 mnths now. No luck so far and I just found out that I have a short luteal phase. Just wondering if there's anyone else out there with the same problem...any positive outcomes? any advice?

Thanks for the welcome Karla. I had heard about B6 and planned to do some looking online today. I've also heard it has a lot to do with diet. So, I've started a total diet

Hi there!

I have a short luteal phase too! No fun, huh. :( We've been ttc #1 for 18 cycles and unfortunately I don't have a success story yet! Our infertility doctor prescribed progesterone suppositories for when we do an IUI and that has lengthened my LP to ~11-12 days, which is much longer than it is without meds.

Hi Reba!

Please let me know how the creams and such go. I've heard from several other people that the creams didn't work for them. So, hopefully they'll work for you. They better work for someone! lol

Hey there,

It's about the same as yours. Usually is 7 but every once in awhile a 9 pops in. Well, I started the B6 today. So I'm excited to see what happens. Sure hope it gets me a BFP!!

Hi Emily,

Thank you! I hope you get yours very soon too and that the B6 helps. I took it from January to May and it took a couple cycles before it really kicked in, I think. Maybe that's because there was only 2mg in the FertilAid? I had no idea I should have maybe been taking more! I learn something new every day here. :)

My infertility dr told me to stop taking everything except prenatal vitamins back in May, so I did. I think he was concerned about the FertilAid interfering with the medications he'd be giving me. However, if we ever take a month off and try on our own, I would definitely try the B6.

Good luck!! Please let me know how the 50mg works for you.
Reba

Hey Reba,

I'll let you know what I find out as I take the B6. What medications does the infertility dr have you on?
