Your Name/Age: Robyn - 29

DH/DW/SO Name/Age: John - 34

Diagnosis: I had a blocked fallopian tube. Went in for hysteroscopy & laparoscopy in April '07. Found out only had 1 fallopian tube (left, right one never developed) tube was removed due to being blocked beyond repair. So now I'm tubeless.

How long TTC: We were ttc 2-2 1/2 years off & on 1 full year solid of charting, temping,OPK's etc.

Where are you in the TTC process: Have since stopped ttc 7 months ago. We were going to do IVF but were turned down for a program called "Shared Risk"

Next Step: adoption.

What are you most looking forward to in February? Not so much in February but come March we will be finishing up our paperwork to send in to the agency we're working with to take the next step & get a homestudy.

It may seem odd that I post on IF support since I'm no longer TTC but it's only been in the last year that we were going to all the appointments to diagnose what's wrong. My bad days are fewer & far between but they are still there & it's just nice to relate to people who understand & to let others know that everything will be okay.

To stop crying!!! :) That is all I have been doing

The crying does eventually stop ..not entirely but those days will become fewer & far between. I've had a few moments where I have had to hold back tears or a tear here & a tear there has come but the last real good cry I had over seeing someone pregnant came at a baby shower I went to in June. The shower was for one cousin who was adopting & my OTHER cousin showed up. She was 5 months pregnant & she was one of those girls who got pg immediately...& I mean IMMEDIATELY...she got married on a Friday & conceived that night because she found out a few weeks later. Talk about a kick in the gut. I was in the begining of my IF treatments & she got pregnant on her honeymoon.

So I have hope that February will be a new start for you!!! ::hugs::

How long TTC: 1 1/2 years

Where are you in the TTC process: failed IVF/TESA/ICSI in Dec.
