Birth announcements and work
Thu, 08-21-2008 - 2:40pm

So I work for a very large organization- 18,000 employees across the country 10's of offices.  Someone today decided to send a birth announcement to everyone in the organization.  Happy for them, congradulations- I don't know you and don't need to know.  People also like to send emails to everyone about keys or glasses lost at a specific location.  Seriously.

Thanks for the vent.

Yeah, at my organization too. Birth announcement for people I never heard of. Totally annoying. But worse than that is working next door to a very pregnant woman - seeing her makes me so nervous because it constantly reminds of me and my troubles. Ugh. Hang in there.

TTC a little over a year; Dx: Suspected hormonal imbalance, short luteal phase. But mostly unexplained. DH is normal. IUI #1 with 100mg Clomid, progesterone suppositories

I guess it's not too bad where I work because it's only a staff of about 40 people and we all know each other. Last year two women were pg - one born in April and the other just two weeks ago. I was suprisingly genuinely happy
