"I'm sorry, do what now?"

I can't believe what just happened to me. So all weekend I'd been having these strange chest pains, like a tightening and releasing in my esophagus. I thought it was just really bad indegestion so I let it go. BUT it's been everyday since saturday morning so DH got really worried called the PCP and they had me come right in. After checking me out and asking me some questions PCP deduced that I'm experiencing Esophageal spasms? I said what in the world is that and how did that happen? So my stomach acid comes up (like heart burn) but instead of my body just letting it go, my esophagus is all stressed out and freaks a little when that acid hits it! PCP says, YOU HAD AN AXIETY ATTACK ON FRIDAY! I said, "I'm sorry, do what now?" Yes, AF came on friday and yes I was devastated but I told him that I didn't have shortness of breath or any of the aniety attack symptoms. Apparently, according to PCP, some of the worst anxiety attacks have no symptoms but instead your body goes a little crazy b/c the stressed is kinda bottled up. He said he thought that AF showing was more traumatic for me than I thought and my body let me know it. I thought geez, even my subconcious is stressed! so he perscribed some kind of anti muscle spasm med and some Prilosec. I'm not really sure whether I should take them or not, until I make up my mind, my chest only feels better when I have food in my stomach so I'm keeping full with strawberries and nutella.

( ( ( ( H U G S ) ) ) ) I had anxiety attacks about 12 years ago and they were nothing like that. Just take care of yourself. And your strawberries and nutella sounds heavenly. Think I will be going to the store today :)
