2 weeks to the marathon

I'm down to the wire on my marathon training - race day is January 11.  I was feeling pretty good until yesterday when an old injury reared its ugly head.  Right now, I'm trying to get to my physical therapist for a quick evaluation and treatment to make me feel better.

I think I really needed the mental break from TTC for the last few months.  I feel much more at peace with everything that is going on and ready to move forward.  I even managed to not freak out after finding out that yet another woman in my office is PG.  DH and I have started talking about our next steps and we're looking forward to getting started again after the race.  I even got a recommendation for another RE from the urologist that DH has been seeing.  The urologist knows our whole situation and he thought that this RE might be a good fit for my personality --- not sure if that is a complement or a statement on the difficulties of dealing with me!

Think positively for me on January 11, I'm going to need all the help that i can get.  See you back online at the end of the month!

Hi Isabel,

Are you running the disney marathon? I want to do the half marathon where you run through sleeping beauty's castle!!

Anyway, I've been doing some 10milers and am considering a local half marathon at the end of March. I hope you get to run yours. Do ice and rest! And best to you!
