What is it with in-laws?!

So my DH, a man of few words, finally told his family about IVF and terminating our ectopic pregnancy. I didn't hear a single word of condolance from any of themduring our visit. Not that I was surprised, mind you.

Then the next day, one of his sisters wore a right to life t-shirt to Sunday dinner, no doubt for my benefit. I guess that she prefers that we take our chances with "the so-called life of the mother".

What should I expect from a family built on shot-gun weddings.

Me:  40! Him: 39 1/2. Together 11 years, married 8, TTC#1.
Day 3 FSH 8.9, 10.9. Day 3 Estradiol 85, 52. (Mar & June 2008, respectively.)
SA < 1% morphology.
Acupuncture: Not sure if it is helping my fertility, but it helped my 15-year-old shoulder injury the first day!!!
IVF/ICSI #1 Sept. 08   Ten follicles!, 12 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilized.  Transferred 3 eight-cell embryos on 9/19.   One made it to freeze. Beta #1 152 on 17 dpo. Beta #2 161 on 19 dpo.  Karmen biopsy negative. It's officically ectopic.  Beta #15 <6. My first IVF cycle, ectopic pregnancy, and first child, over at 10 weeks.
A new plan for the New Year! FSH 1/1/09. Clomid challenge test and hysteroscopy this month. Hoping for insurance approval for IVF #2 in Feb '09.

(((hugs))) Allison I am sorry you had to deal with that. The more I deal with IF the more I realize that many people don't understand. I saw that you were getting your FSH checked, how did that go?
