another PG woman in my life

Well it seems I will have to look at yet another PG woman on a reg basis. My SIL came out that she is 10 weeks yesterday. I am very happy that she is dont get me wrong. But this is yet another person that is PG. Why do I need this in my face? I cant anymore. I will have to sit across her at dinner and listen to her complain. Oh joy. The pedestal she is already on will be elevated even higher. Great I already see it coming. We both usually set the table together and my MIL asked me to do it with her while SIL was sprawled on the couch. I knew it then. The princess needs her rest already. I wish I could sit in a box till I am. I cant stand seeing PG women anymore. I am getting so jaded. It sounds terrible I know.

Actually this is just being real. Even though I am pg I understand how you feel. And I understand the SIL thing too. I think my SIL is going to get pregnant pretty soon and take over the whole show. Since I don't feel bad I'm not getting much attention but she was sick her first pregnancy for 7.5 months so she'll probably be sick again and get all the attention and blah blah blah.

I'm sorry you have to watch it slow closey with this being your SIL. But hang in there. Your time is gonna come and you're going to glow brighter, look prettier, and be a fabulous mom!

Hi Kitty,

Thanks. I was hoping to be PG first so the competition/pedestal thing wouldnt be there. Weve been going back and forth, I MC then a month later she does. She has also lost 2. Always around the time I do but never overlapping. She has no prob getting PG they just dont stick. So I really feel for her. I really do. So I am truly happy for her but really not happy for me. I just got back from an engagement party and was so happy no one there was PG. It was so nice! Ahhhh..

Ahhh the younger sister! That sucks big time! My SIL is a few years younger. I always felt like my inlaws would like me more then they do now (we had some rocky times in the past)

Hi Liz,

I am so sorry for your loss. That is terrible. I am sorry you had to go though that.

Your right about taking a break. Its kindof hard to miss dinner, they wont understand why. I might play sick next time if I am feeling crappy about things. We only go over every second sunday. My MIL lost twins (I cant remember how many months, this was her fist PG) but that was a long time ago so she forgets the pain and healing process. She has the 'get over it' attitude with me. I can't believe your MIL said that to you.

After struggling with infertility, we welcomed our son Noah on March 18, 2010! Formerly a teacher, I am now a breastfeeding, babywearing, stay at home Mom, and I couldn't love it any more!

It doesn't sound terrible at all Cynthia! We all know how you feel. No matter how happy you are for the person it just stinks that it's not us. We want it so bad it's hard not to feel this way.
