Well as some of you know I had surgery back in March for my fibroids. The RE removed what he could of them, they weren't into the cavity as much as he had thought. Well nothing has changed as far as AF. It is still very heavy and long. This month it came 3 days early. So most likely I didn't ovualte, if I did I most likely still had AF. So no bding was happening in our house. Sorry TMI. It's bad enough it had been arriving around day 26, not this time.
What makes me mad is after my surgery he put me on progesterone, because he though that the fibroids may not be my problem for the heavy bleeding. You would think that is something they would have checked a long time ago. I have constantly told them how bad my cycles are, how long they last. Who knows it's been so long the Ob/gyn I was seeing may have had my levels checked. They may have checked me on the wrong day. I read somewhere you should be checked 7 days after O, not day 21 like many Drs do. Unless you O on day 14.
So I have been looking up info on low progesterone and sure enough heavy bleeding w/ clots (boy do I have clots) are a couple of symptoms of low progesterone. I also have many others as well.
So I have started to take Vitex and I'm waiting for some progesterone cream that I ordered. I feel that I have to do more things on my own. I will see what happens over the next few months.
