So, I went back to my GYN today and she said the results and the exams lead her to believe that I do not release an egg everytime I ovulate. She said that it is not as common for a woman with those results to bleed every month..obviously that is just an evil trick from the nasty witch AF:( Anyhow, because I am 33 she wants me to see a specialist..which I am all for. Of course I am overseas and the tricare insurance we currently have may not be the best for seeing an RE. I need to get more information and DH and I need to decide if we want to wait until we are stateside(8 monthsish)and can switch to another Tricare option. I am bummed, sad and still kind of taking it in..but the doctor was awesome and she really gave me great information. On to the next step..whatever it may be.

I do think it's good that you are going to see a specialist whether it be overseas or here. I hope that you can get everything in order and move on to your much deserved BFP!

BFP #4! - 1/I think a specialistic is a good idea.
thanks lauren, it is good to hear someone else have the same issues! Hopefully the specialist can shed more light for us!
We are stationed overseas too (Germany) and I have tricare. My RE is actually really great, they call him the miracle dr. What country are you in? German REs are really great, they do an u/s for everything, also if your diagnosis is documented correctly by your dr. as ammenoreah then all your fertility meds are covered by tricare (just not IUI or IVF). You could take the leap now and start instead of waiting 8 months and I think you would be really surprised by the quality of care. Let me know if you have any questions and best of luck!

Yes, we are in Germany...over in Kaiserslautern. I have been seeing a German OB/GYN and she is wonderful. The RE that she recommends is not a Tricare provider so I have alot to think about.
Hi Emily, I think getting AF with anovulation is more common than your GYN may think.

I am sort of a TriCare expert as I am an Active Duty military (Army) clinical provider. you can see an RE overseas. If you are in Europe, there is one in Landstuhl. The overseas network has them available on the economy, all you need is a consult from your primary OR Ob/Gyn to be sent to Tricare. If there is not one near you, you can work out them sending you to the closest one. Please feel free to contact me about this. Terri has my personal email and she can give it to you.
