1 week to go & not feeling positive

The main reason I am feeling so hopeless about this cycle is my 4 & 5 dpo temps.

In past months my temp always seems to drop at 4 or 5dpo to right around the coverline and then it rebounds again on the 6dpo but all of those were BFN.

Well the same thing is happening this cycle. I am really trying to stay positive but it's difficult to do so when I am seeing the same signs as other unsuccessful months.

Side vent: I am frustrated with the coverline FF gives since most of the time it doesn't make sense. I always think it is going to be one number & it gives something else.

In the grand scheme of things I guess the coverline thing doesn't matter but it is still annoying.

OK I'm done whining now, thanks for reading!

(((HUGS))) NAT

I asked my RE about a coverline.. Said that i didn't need to even take my temp. I still take my temp even though she said i didn't need too.

I was told that coverline is 6 days back from the day you ovulate. I don't know if that will make any difference or not. IT could be implantation dip too.. That usually happens 5 ro 12 days after ovulation.

Keep thinking positive because I am right there with you.

Hey Nat,

Try not to worry about it.

I agree with Terri, don't let the temps get to you so much. I hung up my thermometer. I liked how it helped me know what was happening but the stress of it far outweighed that. If anything I would use it for 3 days to confirm O and then put it in a drawer.

But I would just have to say that if you did conceive it is still way too early to know anything from your temps. Both of my bfp cycles looked exactly like any other until 10 or 11 dpo when it spiked.

I'm 38, DH is 42 and we are TTC #1. We've had 3 unexplained miscarriages and a bout with Asherman's Syndrome but we're determined.
