Grrrrrrrr! I give up!

Thats it I'm done! I cant do this anymore. I had my second IUI this month and AF is due tomorrow so I took a test this morning and it was a BFN just like last month. Except this month I had really bad pain in my abdomen right below my belly button. Dr says this is good cause it probably means I ovulated and the fluid from ovulating seeped into my abdominal cavity creating some irritation. Gave me some pain meds and told me to call if it gets worse. What I think happened was the Clomid(wonderful stuff by the way.... NOT!) caused me to develop some cysts from being overstimulated and they ruptured causing the severe pain. How can you get pg if thats always happening. So I'm done! I'm quitting and I'm getting a puppy! He's the cutest Maltipoo pup I have ever seen and he will bring me more joy then the crap I'm subjecting myself to every month. DH thinks I took a test too soon but i think not. The only symptom I have is breast tenderness. And its not the whole breast thats sore, just my nipples (I know TMI). Anyone else going thru the same thing as me or similar to what I'm going thru? Should I really stop trying or go to a fertility clinic and pay out the nose for treatments that might not work? Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! I hate this!!!!!!

Upset and Dishearten,

Hugs Kristy,

I'm sorry about the bfn. Double check your insurance and see what is covered at the RE. I was surprised that all of my testing and part of the IUI's are covered. No ivf but at least it was something!

I too got a puppy a few months back. Just felt like I needed something to love on. It really has helped to have something else to concentrate on.

I'm 38, DH is 42 and we are TTC #1. We've had 3 unexplained miscarriages and a bout with Asherman's Syndrome but we're determined.

BFP #4! - 1/

I am so sorry! It stinks that we try to do anything we can to get p/g and end up making ourselves sicker in the process. I had never gotten cysts before and now

(((HUUGGSS))) Im sorry. This is so frustrating I know. Every month I feel the same way. Ive been trying longer than all my friends that have babies or that are PG right now. It just plain sucks!
