I love reading this site...it makes me feel a lot less alone! We have been ttc for 2 years (this month marks that exciting anniversary). I found out in March of 2009 following an HSG I had a large fundal (top of uterus) fibroid taking up at least 50% and basically blocking sperm into tubes. I had hysteroscopic surgery in March to have to removed. Waited 2 months to ttc again and still nothing for past 5 months. Clomid for past 2 months, nothing.

I feel like a mess emotionally and keep getting symptoms like I'm pg but am not according to blood tests (has happened approximately 5 times in last 2 years, once with Clomid, very tender breasts, want to cry all the time!). I see a regular GYN not a RE, do you guys think I need to switch?

I'm glad to have found this board...I'm just so tired of the rollercoaster of emotions!!!

LOL Jamie, I can tell you that we must all hate the "relax and it will happen" speech.

I'm 38, DH is 42 and we are TTC #1. We've had 3 unexplained miscarriages and a bout with Asherman's Syndrome but we're determined.

Yes, DH has been checked and his analysis came back normal. I also had a normal HSG in August (after surgery) as we hadn't become pg in 3 months post surgery. So next step was Clomid.

I think I will switch doctor's next month. I think my doc now kind of looks at is as it's only 6 months post op, but for me it's 2 years! So I'm just frustrated.

Thanks to all of you for replying! Also, how much do you hate everyone telling you to just relax and it will happen when it's supposed to happen...really, if that were the case, there would be way fewer teenage pregnancies and oops babies!!! ;)

Hi Jamie,

I'm glad you found us. I would definitely move on to an RE. They are much more thorough with testing and treatments.

Have they retested your HSG after the hysteroscopy?
