OT: Dog woes

Girls, I am a mess. My puppy bit the dog sitter who comes by everyday to let him out during the day while DH and I are at work. As in bit her hard, she went to the dr's to get it checked out. Thank God she is a total sweetheart, she is more worried about getting Boris in trouble than anything else. She also has a dog that exhibits aggressive behavior so she is understanding.

We don't know what to do! Boris bit my husband once before too, pretty hard. We've had a trainer come to the house and help us, he says he has "Resource Guarding" issues. Meaning he is protective over objects like bones or toys. The weird thing is I can stick my hand in his food bowl when he eats and he could care less. Anyway, my biggest fear is we can't correct it and we'd have to put him down. I've been crying all day thinking about it, I will be devastated if it comes to this. But we obviously couldn't feel comfortable bringing a child into the house (not that that is happening any time soon anyway).

Sorry so long, I am just so sad over this.

He's a cutie! Does look like he's got some wire hair in their somewhere! His hair reminds me of my dog growing up!

Me 33, DH 36. TTC since November 2007. Possible miscarriage in January of 2008 (too early for BFP, but all symptoms point to miscarriage). Normal SA in Feb 2009. HSG showed large (50% of uterus) fundal fibroid in Feb 2009. Hysteroscopically removed in March 2009. Tried to concieve naturally until August. Repeat HSG was normal. Currently on 4th month of Clomid...never had a BFP.

I don't think Lenny looks at all like the rat terrier!

Aw!! Here's a pic of mine. Buster is the black one, Addie is a rat terrier. Buster basically looks like a chihuahua on steroids! He's about 18 pounds (hard to tell from that pic).

Have you ever looked at dogster.com? They have a bunch of rathuahuas (that's what my DH calls him). Here's Buster's page, I haven't updated in forever, but it's fun to look at.

This reminds me of my dog Buster! When Jeff and I first started dating he would bark if Jeff even hugged me! He's not aggressive and he's small (half chihuahua/half rat terrier) but he was NOT happy I had another man in my life besides him!!!

Now he loves his daddy, but it definitely took some time!
