On Friday afternoon I kept feeling little twinges in my lower abdomen so I POAS. The line was darker than the one I had taken before. I didn't say anything to anyone & put it away. I decided not to test again until Sun, DH's b-day.

I woke up early on Sun because I had to go to the bathroom so I POAS and it was a BFP and darker than the one on Fri. When DH woke up I told him. He was excited but said we should wait until the beta Wed to confirm it. A few hours later I passed alot of blood.

I called the RE & the nurse said the progesterone suppositories could be irritating my cervix & could cause spotting. Then gave me the "some women spot thru their whole pregnancy speech". I told her this wasn't spotting it was full blown heavy flow.

I have a call in to the RE now to move up my beta. No point in postponing the inevitable:(

It would have been bad enough to get AF after doing IVF but to finally see those 2 lines makes it a million times worse. I am just devasted. Not to mention I gave DH the worst b-day he has ever had.

Oh man Nat, I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that just to get it snatched away in the end.

Oh Nat! Ugh, I freaking hate this. I hope it turns out okay. I will be annoying and tell you that I had bleeding right when I tested and then again the flood last weekend. I wouldn't believe it was possible either. So I am holding out some hope that everything turns out okay.

I'm so sorry you have to go through all this anxiety! I hope it's just a fluke and you have a brave little soldier in there, like Kelly's, holding on tight, even after bleeding!

Thanks Christine.

I am not really holding out any hope since I have had full bleeding since yesterday morning & still do today. If it were a one time thing maybe but this can't be good.

Kelly,

Thank you. I really want to think maybe this will turn out ok but the bleeding has been regular since Sun morning.

Monica,

I was confused too. I also though that when you are on progesterone that you don't get AF either. I hope the little bean is hanging in too but with this much bleeding it would be hard to imagine.

I am really mad at the RE's offce. I called first thing this morning & still no call back. I guess I don't matter now since I am one of their failure statistics.

Oh Nat, I'm so sorry.
After struggling with infertility, we welcomed our son Noah on March 18, 2010! Formerly a teacher, I am now a breastfeeding, babywearing, stay at home Mom, and I couldn't love it any more!
