No change in U/S; D&C tomorrow

There was no heartbeat detected as well as no change in the growth. So, we decided to have a D&C tomorrow and close this chapter of the book as soon as possible. I will have my bloodwork drawn in about 2 weeks and they will run some tests on the 'baby' to see its chromosomes.
It still is very hard to pull myself away from the "happy pregnant thoughts" I had just a few weeks ago when I was thinking about the baby's room, names, wearing maternity clothes, etc. A very good friend of mine is pregnant (just 2 weeks ahead of where I would be) and her u/s yesterday came back perfect. I had visions of us with huge bellies pal-ing around ...... and it makes me sad that all those thoughts have gone away.
I truly believe that this is all part of God's plan....but it still hurts to go through.

Monica,
Faith was trying to respond to your post but couldn't since she's having problems getting on. I told her I would let you know that she's so sorry. It broke her heart to read the post and she's thinking of you. Lots of ((hugs))

Monica, I am so sorry!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope things go well tomorrow and the tests can shed some light on this and maybe take you one step closer to a safe and healthy pregnancy, which I hope comes very soon!
