frustrated of waiting...
Sat, 07-17-2010 - 1:40pm
so we were taking the month of july off due to low $$$$ and planning on doing iui #4 in august. my thyroid level was tested last week and came back really really low (tsh 0.02). i have an appointment with my endocrine but my RE says to wait until its stabilized before we resume treatments.
i'm frustrated with all the waiting! my thyroid has always been too high (hypothyroid/hashimoto's) so for it to be too low, it's like i can't win! i know it's better to wait until it's stabilized for better chances for getting pregnant, but i'm just really, really frustrated.
i think this is going to be our last iui before ivf. although i've always had a feeling i'd have trouble getting pregnant, to actually end up here is a little shocking to me. i guess i'm just having a hard time dealing. my counselor has been through IF and has twin girls through IVF, so at least i have someone to talk to, i just needed to whine this morning. thanks for reading!!!!

You aren't whining! We have waited so long already and then to have more hurdles put in the way is so frustrating. It is so hard to figure out sometimes what is going on with your body. Perhaps some reaction to the injectibles? Hopefully the Docs can collaborate and figure it out!

And every time we had a forced break I was super upset at the beginning but once you get into it, and feel the relief of not always counting time in 2 week intervals, it isn't quite so bad :)

Boo about having to wait. Sometimes I feel like that is the most frustrating thing. It is

I am sorry that you are having to wait more and that your thyroid levels seemed to reverse.
