For those interested my story is as follows:
We tried 4IUI's and 3IVF's all were negative. In October 2002 Dh and I went to LA for vacation and in Novemer my Crohns started acting up again. In January I had my gallbladder removed and in February I had 15 inches of my colon and adhesions removed. In June I find out I am 8wks pregnant with a due date of 2/4/04. My pregnancy was pretty smooth. Starting having alot of High Blood Pressure so started taking meds for it. At 30wks I developed a horrible sinus infection. I still had it at 34wks. Peri said we would do an amnio at 36wks to check lungs for maturity. So go in at 36wks and he tells me to get my bags I'm gonna have a baby. The amnio fluid was too low to continue the pregnancy. So I didnt have to have the amnio I had the baby instead.
My beautiful son Nathaniel Kole was born after 30 hours of induced labor. He weighed in at 6lbs 8oz and 19 3/4 inches with a full head of brown hair. Life has been so different after having a baby. I never thought we would have one after so much medical intervention with no success.
So best wishes to everyone here that is on that long journey to motherhood. It really is a remarkable place to be. Just dont give up.
