I Can't believe it!!!
Thu, 12-17-2009 - 1:55pm

I swear I posted this earlier, but I guess it didn't go through.  Anyway....

(It only took 2 years, 9 months, 4 IUI's, a lap, 2 IVF's, and a DE cycle to get me here, but who cares?)

Here's the story: I have had no IPS except for being more thirsty than usual, which I just attributed to the dry air/heat.  I knew I was going to test today and from 2am on I had to pee and I fell back asleep but woke up again at 6 and I couldn't stand it anymore.  So I snuck into the other bathroom so I wouldn't wake up DH.  I kept telling myself "it's going to be negative so be prepared."  I put the test on the back of the toilet and by the time I wiped and flushed there was a second line, clear as day!  I couldn't freakin' believe it because in almost 3 years of TTC I have never seen a second line! So I freaked out, jumped up and down and then ran in a woke up DH.  He was so psyched...we just sat in bed smiling at each other for 5 minutes saying "I can't believe it worked!" and looking at the test. The cats jumped up on the bed and stared at us like "what's going on?"

My beta will be Monday.  They originally told me to come in Friday but she wrote down Monday and when I called to confirm they said Monday would be better. SO I will be POAS'ing all weekend! I know we have a lot of milestones to reach but I have faith that this is a good bean (or beans).  Man, those donor eggs work!!!

    Amber, that is AMAZING!
