We saw the heartbeat and baby moving!!!!

Today was our first appt. with the OB and the ultrasound was so amazing today! We got to see the heartbeat, it was beating so fast, and we could see everything-little head arms and legs, and he was moving! It was so unbelievable to see and reassuring, I didn't know they move around like that so early! The Dr. took measurements and said everything is measuring great for the right time and the heartbeat looks great, I was so happy to hear that. I go in for the next appt. Feb. 5th and I can't wait to see our little baby again, it was just so surreal to see him moving! The Dr. said we can find out the sex at 16 weeks, so that is not too much longer.
I just cannot get over how cool it was to see him moving all around! Dh really liked seeing it too, it just made it so real and I was thinking looking at our little baby on the screen that I love him so much already!
I know we are still not out of the danger zone yet at 8wk4days, I just can't wait until our next appt. when we will be though, but it still was very reassuring to see everything and hear that everything is going as it should!

Sally, that is so amazing!

After struggling with infertility, we welcomed our son Noah on March 18, 2010! Formerly a teacher, I am now a breastfeeding, babywearing, stay at home Mom, and I couldn't love it any more!
