I saw my OB yesterday and since my blood sugar #'s were a little high at certain times she wanted to add meds. She gave me the choice of insulin or a pill. We opted for the pill because it was easier...I am fine with needs but I do work in a school so it is easier not having needles at work.
She also is having me do twice a week NST scans to make sure Ant isn't stress. Also she is sending me for a growth U/S. I am starting to think I am hardly going to be seeing my work these last couple weeks of my pregnancy. But honestly I am feeling done anyways.
As for the meds they seem to be doing their job so far because my blood sugar was great this morning. So far so good.
One last note is that my OB confirmed again that she will be inducing me in my 39th week if I don't go on my own but I am already on my way 1cm dialated and 30% effaced.

Susan,
I am glad to hear that the medicine is working for you. When I was PG for my son I remember that I felt like I was always at the OB's office toward the end. You must
Susan, well, while I'm sorry you've had to add meds to control the GD, I am thankful that it seems to be doing its job.
And I have to agree with Nat, seems like just yesterday you were announcing your pregnancy news :)

Hi, Susan! I'm glad the pills are working for you. And I'm glad everything else is going well. I remember, way back when I was pg with DS, I had to have NST's twice a week. I can't believe Ant will be here soon. Again, I have to tell you, you have made my journey through IF a lot better. I am so glad I decided to join this board. Seeing everyone get their BFP's helps keep that spark of hope in me. You know, I just noticed that ANT is the first part of Anthony. Boy am I a ditz!
Susan, it's good to hear that the pills are doing their job and keeping your blood sugar
Thank you Faith!
I am also getting excited about your up coming IVF.
Thank you Christine!
