Beta #2
Mon, 02-15-2010 - 6:55pm

I wanted to share that my beta went up from 33 on Thursday to 195 today, a doubling time of 37.5 hours.   I am still of course quite cautious as I think the actual number is still on the low side for 19dpiui but the doubling time is good from what I understand. The drs office said it was a nice rise.

Drs office said I did not need any more betas and I am scheduled for my 1st u/s on March 2nd.  I was tempted to ask for another beta but thought it might actually cause me more worry so I did not.  Plus they called me and I answered when I was in our break-room so it was hard for me to talk without announcing to the whole office my news.

I hope I do not go too crazy over the next two weeks!

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support!!!  This board is amazing and I am so lucky to have y'all in my life.   Thank you!

That is awesome how your numbers are moving right up! I think that is a good idea to stop the betas. It can be way too much stress. Yay for you!!

That's good news, congratulations!

After struggling with infertility, we welcomed our son Noah on March 18, 2010! Formerly a teacher, I am now a breastfeeding, babywearing, stay at home Mom, and I couldn't love it any more!

Stick baby Stick! Your betas sound great, I'm so happy to see this!

I don't blame you for forgoing the repeat beta, sometimes they are more stressful than anything. I hope March 2nd comes quickly showing a perfect little bean:)

I'm 38, DH is 42 and we are TTC #1. We've had 3 unexplained miscarriages and a bout with Asherman's Syndrome but we're determined.
