Morning Ladies!

The docs were able to place a new stitch on Monday afternoon. I did contract afterward, but not nearly as often or as hard as the first time, so that's a bonus. The doctor told me he was actually able to place the stitch above where the previous stitch was. Apparrently **TMI WARNING**, the previous stitch had turned the lower part of my cervix into "hamburger".

I will have an ultrasound today to see how successful we were with the placement. Regardless of what the ultrasound report says, I will be going home today. The doctors have said that they have done all they can do, and at this point, it's a waiting game. Every second we keep them inside is a blessing.

At this point, I am just praying for good news. I appreciate all of your prayers and positive thoughts...you have no idea how much of a comfort it is to know that people all over the country are praying for the health of you and your babies.

I will let you guys know what the ultrasound says once I get home and get settled. I hope you all are doing well and are (relatively) comfortable!!

Talk to you soon,

Rachael

Rachael,

I'm so happy that the doctors were able to place another stitch. Glad to hear that you didn't contract as bad as last time too.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your US.

Sending you many positive thoughts today:)

I have no idea how you and DH are staying sane during this, but I am so proud of you for being so strong (and I don't even know you!). I am so so so so so so sorry that you are dealing with this, and that hamburger reference made me cringe- your poor body! These LOs are going to owe you big time each and every mother's day. I'm continuing to pray for you and your babies, and I hope your u/s reveals some good news- you definitely deserve some at this point!

I'm new to the board, but got immersed in your story right away! I even had to look up the procedure that you had done since I wasn't aware of it. I'm hoping and praying that the stitch will hold and your LOs will stay right where they are! Every day is one day closer to the finish line. Keep us posted and know that I'm sending many hugs your way!
