Well, I had my retrieval today at noon. 19 eggs. Of course, they won't all be mature, but I know 10 should be and hopefully the HCG helped the borderline ones mature. Now I just wait to find fertilization results tomorrow and, if all goes well, transfer on Saturday! I'll keep you posted. Thanks for your support!

Hi Tracey,

That's great news, 19, wow! How did retrieval go, was it very scary? I am beginning to get nervous for mine (next week). I had my 1st scan yesterday (d4 of sims), and had 3 follies on each side plus a whole bunch of smaller ones. Hope thy'll catch up. Another scan tomorrow.

I am sending you plenty of fertilization vibes, let us know the results!

Retrieval was pretty easy. I was in and out of there within a 2 hour timeframe. I have some mild soreness, but otherwise feel good. I also found out today that 14 out of the 19 fertilized! So, we are on for transfer Saturday morning at 7:00! You will probably have more than the 6 good follies you have now. As of last Sunday (just 3 days before retrieval), I had 10 good ones over 12mm. The HCG shot is supposed to help speed up the borderline ones. When they do the retrieval they take everything, even if it is not mature and will not fertilize. I was surprised to hear that 14 had fertilized because that means that definitely a few more had some last minute growth/maturity. Good luck next week and let me know how it goes!
