Abnormal Bleeding

I was wondering if anyone could help me on this. I recently had a cervical polyp removed about a month and a half ago. I had sex three weeks ago with a new partner that was bigger then I'm use to. I started bleeding alittle bit. I was bleeding for about a week until I went to the doctors. The doctor said that it was normal and then it should stop and the bleeding was coming from my cervix and it had nothing to do with the removal of my polyp. I have had sex now once a week with the same person and I'm still bleeding. It is not bleeding that much were it is coming on to my panties. Do you think I should go back to the doctors? Do you think something else might be wrong with me?

Thanks

Hi kad102004, welcome!

Women can bleed some on either side of our periods as intercourse moves things around putting pressure on the uterus and the endometrium, unstable either side of our periods, will bleed a bit. However, If you are bleeding every time you have IC with your new partner regardless of where in your cycle you are then I think you should ask your doc to find the cause of your bleeding. Let us know what s/he says, ok?

Good luck,
