Duration of Sexual Peak?

Last week the sex life of my wife and me increased dramatically. My wife says exteremely strong sexual feelings and drive hit her like a ton of bricks. We are in our mid 30s, and my wife thinks she is hitting (or just starting) her sexual peak. My question is "How long does this last?" The reason I ask is that my wife is on a trip visiting friends and relatives and will be gone for 10 days. I'm afraid that when she returns her feeling will have fizzled. Am I being silly?

Ok, good for her, and you too! Lol! On average women are their most fertile in their early 20s but that might have nothing to do with her libido. Has anything changed in her life/daily routine, things like changing method of birth control or getting rid of a source of stress? Going off the pill will often boost a woman’s libido, it did for me, tremendously! Far less frequently going on the pill might increase sexual drive. If she is cycling naturally then during her estrogen surge, at mid cycle just prior to ovulation, there is a peak in a woman’s libido. Personally, I have felt far more confident and in control in my 30s (I’m 33) and enjoy IC more than I ever did in my 20s. As I mentioned, if she is not on hormonal contraceptives her level of desire may be cyclical, peaking for 3-5 days while she is fertile. I hope you both enjoy it while you can, Let us know how you’re doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
