Pain after sex

I have been having a problem recently. My husband and I used to use condoms and I didn't experience any pain. Now that we have stopped using them (I'm still on the pill), I have been having pain after we are done. There is no pain during only after. My gyno thought it might have been the position but that didn't seem to change the pain. Also I have noticed that the discharge is almost like clumps of gel type material. I don't know what is going on. Can anyone help?

Are the clumps white, and sort of cottage cheesy with a yeasty bread like scent? Being on hormonal contraceptives can cause a woman to be more susceptible to yeast infections. Now that DH is no longer sheathed his semen may change the ph of your vagina just enough to cause a YI. If I were you I'd have the discharge looked at by your doc for an accurate diagnosis. YIs are easily treated if properly diagnosed first. Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
I'm glad you are ok...
What did your doc say the clumps were?
