did I ever have a sex drive?

I am 23 and I have been married for almost 4 years, I love my husband to death, however he's driving mecrazy about sex. For as long as I can remember, I have not really been interested in sex. No touchy feely, pretty much nothing. I don't have orgasms, well, on the RARE occasion I will have one during oral sex. 9 times out of 10, when my husband tries to give me oral sex, I turn him around. My husband would like nothing more than to have some wild sex with me a few times a week, and I could care less. I have been diagnosed with depression, taking zoloft, also I have hypothyroidism, and I quit taking birth control all together now. I heard that all of these medications could have sexual side effects, so I stopped taking everything all together up until recently. I don't know what to do.

Some of us just have a naturally low level of sexual desire and others of us can loose it over time. You are right, depression or medicines (some hormonal contraceptives and antidepressants) as well as job or relationship stress can cause loss of libido. I know where you’re coming from but I’m not sure stopping all your meds is a good idea unless you are being monitored by your doctor. I hope you are using an effective method of contraception as Mother Nature has a habit of doing the darndest things and an unwanted pregnancy probably wouldn’t help your situation right now.
Here is a link to some articles on low sexual desire:

Thanks for posting. Let us know how you’re doing, ok?
