Soft cups?!?!

Has anyone ever tried using Instead soft cups while they were on there period? Its like a diapragm type shape that catches the blood. My question is that they say you can wear it during sex, has anyone ever tried it before. I have a big weekend coming up and unfortunately i am on my period, so i thought i would give those a try, so if anyone has any tips that would be great.

Instead is a one-size-fits-most device. It works well for some and not so well for others. I have used them and they were ok, but I prefer a Milex diaphragm for IC and flow control during menses. A nice thing about Instead is that it can be left in place for up to 12 hours. So if it works for you it might reduce the number of changes necessary. It would be a good idea to empty before IC if possible. That would prevent him ramming a full dome and possibly having a spill. Dark towels and candle light are also useful at times like this. Just in case Instead isn't a perfect fit you might want to take your regular supplies along too. Let us know how you like Instead, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
