male ejac. question

Sorry, this is not really a women's health concern, but I was curious and need some answers.
I've noticed the past few times when my boyfriend has ejaculated into the condom that there is a brownish residue inside... not exactly white like I thought it was supposed to be.
Just wondered if that's normal... sorry, I know it's kinda sick, but I just wondered!

Hi badboxingbabe, welcome back!
Male ejaculate is usually white or cream colored when released and shortly afterward turns clear. My guess is that the brownish residue in the condom might be old blood. Does bf have a lesion on his penis that might be bleeding? Or is he passing blood in his urine or ejaculate? If that’s the case he might have a UTI which is usually accompanied by frequent urination and burning; or a kidney infection with pain in the lower abdomen. If he has a lesion or is passing blood in his urine or ejaculate it would be a good idea for him to be checked out by his doctor. Let us know how he’s doing…
Good luck,
Jill
