Virgins and Orgasms

I just recently lost my viginity. I was wondering how long it will take for me to orgasm. I know every women's body is different but I was thinking that there might be an average length. This is really confusing to me. One of my friends said it took her nine months to have one. I have done some research but have found nothing.

I lost my virginity and did not have my first orgasm for 4 years. And even then it was the first time I did it "alone" I had come close with my boyfriend but never finished. After that first one on my own though (and after telling my boyfriend what I did) the orgasms came more easily. But that method is not for everyone. Does he ask you what you like and do you tell him honestly and maybe experiment a little? That is another good way to acheive an orgasm. Just remeber for most people the first Orgasm is the most difficult and you might have to work on it together or alone.

Hi kwan4life, welcome!

My experience was that I had to find out what turned me on by masturbating before I could tell my first partners what I liked. Unless you are with a very experienced partner it's going to take some experimenting. I think too that a woman's orgasm doesn't usually occur during penetration, it can certainly but not usually. We take a LOT more forplay to get us aroused than guys. So, you can work on perfecting your technique at home while you are alone. Think of it as homework for extra credit. Then when you know what lights your lamp, clue your guy in. Let us know how you're doing, ok?

Good luck,

Hi Kwan4life:

Some women do NOT orgasm by sexual intercourse; my wife orgasms by clitoris stimulation.
