Okay, I know you're not supposed to douche or use those feminine hygiene deoderant sprays, but is it safe to use the deoderizing powder, like "Shower to shower"? My SO swears I'm silly, but I swear that unless I wash my crotch a few times a day, my smell is so strong & sickening to me. Checked with the doctor and I don't have anything physically wrong with me, I just have a strong odor and daily washing doesn't do enough to make me comfortable.

Hi finian, welcome!

My personal belief is that you shouldn't. It will probably depend a good bit on how your body tolerates the contents of a particular product. If you are already using it and it seems to work with no adverse reactions then you might be able to get away with it. My fear would be that some of the powders ingredients might be forced into your urethra during intercourse and cause a UTI. If you decide to try it let us know how it works for you, ok? Thanks for posting.

Good luck,

I was guessing I'd just try the good old fashioned baby powder my SO keeps next to the bed and make sure to wash up before sex.
